Yes, even intermittent renewables will work as baseload power.  Mark Diesendorf of
Institute of Environment Studies at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia,
a reputed scholar and a  strong proponent of renewables, has performed detailed study
on the Australian Energy Market Organization (AEMO, an organization similar to CAISO)
to establish  that even intermittent renewable resources could be used to replace
traditional fossil fuel baseload power.  The argument against deep integration of
renewable resources in the generation mix in the USA will face challenges in the years
to come.  The future of renewable development is going to get brighter.

The key to success of your renewable development in this competitive environment is a
solid strategy that distinguishes you from your competitors.  How do you come up with
such a winning strategy?  What do you base your strategy on?  INFORMATION &
INTELLIGENCE.  Can you design your winning strategy without adequate information
and intelligence?  Since the funding is a constraint, you want the best information and
intelligence for the least money.  Now you have a choice.

Benefits:

  • Experienced resource to augment your staff,
  • Flexible resource to fit your needs, use them only when needed,
  • Experienced resource at half the rate,
  • We become an extension of your development team for a fraction of cost

Expertise

  • Engineering support, CAISO generation interconnection support, queue
process, GIA, COD, project management of all your EPC needs, Tariff
    procedures and protocol supports, etc..

Products

  1. Retainer Service - This product has been designed to provide you with
immediate access to an expert for all your questions related to your
development.  This service is equivalent to having your own in-house
transmission expert for a fraction of the cost.  As part of this service, we will take
full responsibility of tracking your project in the ISO queue, follow the
progress/milestones, follow CAISO initiatives that affect your project, and
evaluate risks of various CAISO initiatives on your project.
  2. Cluster 5 & 6 Phase I and Phase II Proxy Studies - This product has been
designed to provide you a preview of Phase I & Phase II study results and your
options for a least cost interconnection.  Such an independent study will be
available to you that will give you an opportunity to influence CAISO studies
before they are published. You will benefit from this study if you want to
understand the CAISO grid limitations and cost of interconnection to the grid.
Such intelligence will help you site your projects, acquire competitor projects,
and develop business strategies for success.
