Renewable Engineering Consulting was founded in 2011 by Dr. Raja
Srivastava who is an Electrical Engineer and specializes in transmission
planning and generation interconnection studies.
As a 30 year veteran in the electric utility industry, Dr. Srivastava carries a
deep knowledge of utility transmission system in the USA.
Dr. Srivastava is experienced with the needs of the renewable wind and
solar developers.
Dr. Srivastava has been involved with planning and interconnection issues
at various energy markets in the USA such as MISO, PJM, SPP, ERCOT,
CAISO, etc.
Dr. Srivastava is a technically strong engineer who has provided solutions
to difficult issues such as a) power system thermal limitations, b) power
system transient stability limitations, c) power system voltage stability
issues and reactive power management, d) NERC TPL standards and
compliance, etc.
With extensive knowledge and an innovative approach, Dr. Srivastava has
effectively tackled a variety of multifaceted challenges faced by utilities and
renewable wind and solar developers.
Dr. Srivastava has first hand experience with transmission planning issues
and mitigations in the transmission system of PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT,
CAISO, and many electric utility companies all over USA.
